Which data do we collect?

Moos.app collects the following data:

The website

We collect Email addresses for sending newsletters. The newsletter is send with a minimum interval of one month. The email addresses are only shared with selected parties in order to issue our service.

We also collect usage statistics from our website, but this is not on an individual basis.

The playground

Anonymous telemetry (errors and usage) is gathered while using the playground.

The editor (paying customers)

The editor collects the same information as the playground as well as:

• Payment information like credit card numbers (Moos.app never receives this information. It stays with Paddle)
• Contact information such as Email
• Project data (Data you provide to us)
• Personal application usage used for billing
• Authentication logging

When you contact us we store the information you provided to us.

How do we store your data?

We are using the following third parties to handle your information:

• Digital Ocean
• Cloudflare
• Paddle
• Postmark

Moos.app still owns the data, it is not sold to any third parties. Third parties can only use and store the data to provide their service to us.

How long do we store your data?

Payment data is generally stored for at least 7 years, we are required to do this to handle our taxes.

Project data is only stored on request, when you remove a project in the editor we keep a copy of it in our backups for 1 month after which it will be removed.

Other data such as usage data is removed or anonymized after you remove your account.

Cookies

Moos.app does not use any cookies for analytics tracking. Any cookies set by our service are functional cookies to keep you logged in.

What are your data protection rights?

Moos.app would like to make sure you are fully aware of all of your data protection rights. Every user is entitled to the following:

• The right to access – You have the right to request Moos.app for copies of your personal data. We may charge you a small fee for this service.
• The right to rectification – You have the right to request that Moos.app correct any information you believe is inaccurate. You also have the right to request Moos.app to complete the information you believe is incomplete.
• The right to erasure – You have the right to request that Moos.app erase your personal data, under certain conditions.
• The right to restrict processing – You have the right to request that Moos.app restrict the processing of your personal data, under certain conditions.
• The right to object to processing – You have the right to object to Moos.app’s processing of your personal data, under certain conditions.
